I did my weekly stroll at Hill-Stead during Final Exam week to take a break and thought the sheep were missing but then spied them way up on the hill and now I understand you were moving them around! I appreciate your closer here as so many of us in the US, often so cynical about our culture and government, continue to live such rich lives--rich in good food, safe spaces, public open spaces and more. Of course, a disappointing portion of our population lives in areas some might call war zones with the violence, food deserts and more, but for you to reach out to your Ukrainian friend to acknowledge the richness of your own life is pretty special.
Thanks Mary. Yes, my life is incredibly rich compared to many in this country as well. Nataliia illustrated the children's book I wrote, and the juxtaposition of our very different circumstances will forever temper my emotions (which is good- my emotions often need to be tempered!)
Absolutely lovely, Bobbie. We are so incredibly fortunate.
Yes, we are!
