Bobbie, I am so happy to hear your weekend writings are back. Hoping that the personal thoughts that you put into this endeavor continue to flow in 2025 and beyond.
They truly uplift me and I’m sure many of your readers as well.
With gratitude , I wish you continuing energy to your creativity~
I also sent money to a single Ukranian mom and her daughter. My nephew is a ballet dancer in Russia and my brother had hired Olga to teach him Russian. When the war started I wove towels in the colors of the Ukranian flag and sold them to my friends. I sent the money to help her as she moved first to Germany and then on to London. She too had the internet to connect her to her students all over the world.
I feel your anger and can't believe the direction we are going but like your artist, I believe it's not the end. There are enough of us gathering to not let it happen.
This story caught me, I was thinking that the church could sponsor her to come here, but like most people she loves her country, I was not on the website in 2023.
I will go on the website and send your story to my friends in hopes of getting more views. Thank you for supporting her.
Thank you, Diane. I am fairly certain that she will never leave, and if she did, I doubt very much that she would feel welcome in this country right now. She would go to a country that is actively trying to help Ukraine defend itself.
Thank you Mark - for your words but even more for your action! I hope you find United24 as inspiring as I have. Some of the funds that have already met their fundraising goal are no longer soliciting donations and are actively making a difference. Such as Timothy Snyder's "Safe Skies Initiative" https://u24.gov.ua/news/safe_skies - talking about uplifting!

Thank you for this update to a remarkable and uplifting story. I am headed to United24 now, to follow your lead. May many others do the same.
